If you are planning to come into a Motor Vehicle Office located in Larimer County, you may download form DR2539A, an application for duplicate title, and bring or mail this into the office with the correct fees and a copy of a proper form of identification. The lienholder will be required to sign the duplicate title in the lien release section. With the release of the lien the title can be issued to the owner but the lien will be present on the title.
